I’ve been a heavy chatGPT user for the past 3 years, but for the past 3 months that bet was me going 100% all-in on Artificial Intelligence (and switching to work based instead of research based tools).

I’ve used different models:

• chatGPT

• Anthropic’s Claude

And one thing I’ve noticed is that AI is allowing me to move faster than with a team. So we restructured Alpha Efficiency around what I call the Atomic Team. Not a solo operator pretending they don't need help. Something in between. I placed the bet on a smaller group of employees that are using AI mindfully.

Every employee had to become AI first. Or face obsolescence. The rest had to go. The game changed and they didn’t change with it.

In this process, we’ve learned how to accelerate creation of content, automate processes, and overall have a skillset that changes the entire thinking process.

It was never this exciting to be an entrepreneur, because the entire offer stack of old companies is being demolished in real time. SaaS companies losing 70-90% of their peak evaluation.

How to become an AI Disruptor

Normal people will use AI like Google. They’ll have access to the most powerful pattern recognition engine in history, and treat it like a search engine.

On the other hand, you’ll have people like me, that are hitting Claude 20x limits in a few hours…

People that figured out how to do work that would take 20 people to execute on, in a matter of a 3-4 hours working session. But AI is useless if it doesn’t make you money.

Most people will study it casually, and will be limited only by their own mind.

I used to be addicted to social media on my smartphone. AI replaced that.

Chatbot creates a feedback loop, and it is extremely dangerous to neurodivergent people. They can fall into AI rabbit holes, and prompt nonsense for hours.

And trust is inherently simple. It’s getting clients.

People with problems are always willing to pay money for someone to solve their problems.

That’s how long I’ve been in tech. What started as a hobby turned into a really good business. One that pays well, runs smoothly, and lets me be permanently remote.

Life was comfortable, selling other people’s labor. I could match clients to my team, and business printed.

Now everything is about to change…

Luckily I never stopped learning. Even when things were going great, I kept reading. Kept trying new things. Kept asking questions, as the world changed. And change it did. And fast.

Then, about 90 days ago, I finally started seeing it. Like putting on a new pair of glasses for the first time.

So I went all in.

Not “messing around on the weekend” all in. I’m talking skip dinner, stay up late, can’t-stop-thinking-about-it all in. On three things:

• Claude

• AI Skills

• MCP integrations

Those words might not mean anything to you yet.

I went on a 30-minute rant, explaining exactly what’s going on…

That single fridge costs more than every piece of technology I use to run my company.

He’s shutting down parts of his large medical center to rent it out, start consulting and go remote-first.

And while we were clearing out the space, I just stood there for a second. Looking around.

Rows of syringes still in packaging. Biohazard disposal units. Sterilization equipment. Labeled cabinets full of things whose name I didn’t know how to pronounce.

(I was genuinely useless. Mostly holding doors open and trying not to blow up anything important.)

All of it, every single piece, required to keep a medical business running.

I started doing math on what it actually takes to keep the doors open:

• Liability insurance

• Staff trained on each piece of equipment

And then I thought about my business:

• Notion dashboard

• 20 people spread across multiple countries, none of whom need a parking spot

That contrast hit different standing in that room.

But here’s where it got interesting.

My friend looked at all of it. The equipment. The lease. The decade of infrastructure. And said:

“I’m getting rid of all of it. I don’t want any material possessions I have to take care of. I don’t want the overhead. I want to travel.”

Then he looked at me and said, “I want to be free like you.”

A Harvard trained doctor. Multiple millions in net worth. Years of prestigious med school, residency, building his practice from nothing.

Inspired my remote first philosophy.

I’m not gonna pretend I had some wise response. I think I said something like “yeah man, it’s pretty good.” (Real eloquent.)

But it stuck with me for days.

Because I spend a lot of time looking up. Comparing myself to people further ahead. Thinking about what I don’t have yet.

And here’s someone objectively further ahead in the game, by almost every traditional measure, actively trying to get to where I already am.

• No office lease

• No physical inventory

• No storage units full of regulatory compliance

• No equipment depreciation (fridge got sold for 5k)

• Just clean profit without creating stress that damages health

I spent six months traveling before coming back to the States. Not on vacation. Just me living my life, visiting friends and family. While business ran itself.

Not “work from the beach” Instagram nonsense. The actual structural advantage of building something that doesn’t require you to be physically present to keep it moving.

7 years running a 100% remote agency taught me this, but apparently I needed a doctor’s empty fridge to remind me to be grateful for it.
